As Xander’s presence grows across Instagram, Spotify and YouTube, it’s important to build deeper connections with his most engaged listeners. Email marketing provides the space for longer form storytelling, allowing Xander to share more of his personality and keep fans connected as his community expands. With his authentic tone of voice, introducing email as a new channel was a natural next step.
After building his website, I set up a welcome flow so every new subscriber automatically receives a personal introduction email - setting out Xander’s intentions for the community and introducing his monthly newsletter. This is where those ‘die-hard’ fans can gain access to new mixes, unheard releases and behind-the-scenes updates.
Beyond engagement, the strategy focuses on growing a high-quality mailing list to support future releases, event promotion and partnerships, building a direct line to his most loyal fans.
